Kaoru grew up in London with his brother, mother, and father, in a large mansion. Although he’s always known that he was a pureblood he was never really interested in magic. His mother was never around to show him any and his father is a muggle-lover who, if he can do it without magic, he will. The few times a month he sees his mother so always rambles about how much he would love it at Hogwarts and how many friends he would make (unlike here where the surrounding muggle families thinks of him as “weird”). When he was accepted into Hogwarts he, at first, didn’t want to leave the home he was so used to but eventually warmed up to the idea, though he always looks forward to going back home (even if it is to an empty house).
In his first few years at Hogwarts, Kaoru has made almost no friends. He is a bit anti-social without his brother around to imitate. In essence, Kaoru does not really know himself but is slowly learning. Instead of being a troublemaker like back home, he mostly keeps to himself and tries to stay under the radar. Kaoru excels in Charms more than anything else, maybe due to the fact he is always putting up his own front that a magical one isn't much more trouble. Due to his looks he tends to get some unwanted female attention.
Personality
Kaoru is considered mischievous and tricky. Kaoru is nicer, more mature, and more considerate to the thoughts of others than his brother Hikaru. He thinks about how is actions will affect others before acting. While Kaoru seems to be the nicer of the twins he can be selfish at times but then turn around and act selfless, putting others needs in front of his own. Kaoru is very protective of his friends.

RELATIONSHIPS

Ryohei Sasagawa A fellow 5th year Gryffindor. They bonded over the fact they are both missing the most important person to them, their sibling. Ryohei is a bit slow on the uptake so Kaoru loves to tease him~
Jomy Marquis Shin A 6th year Gryffindor. They are both pranksters and got along very quickly. Their first prank was an alien invasion because the school was being a bit angst ridden. Jomy is more mature than Kaoru and can talk him out of things.
Winry Rockbell A 7th year Gryffindor. They have an odd friendship that started with Kaoru tutoring her (even though she’s older) and grew when he teased her about liking Ed. ~~Kaoru is trying to play matchmaker between the two~ He won’t admit it but is a bit protective of her and got pretty angry when he found out Sara kissed her~~
Matthew Kirkland A 6th year Hufflepuff, and the younger twin brother of Alfred. They are close friends who bonded over the fact that, well, they need better twins. Kaoru is waiting for it to snow so him and Matt can go play in it, he also wants to see Matt’s competitive side. ~~Kaoru may have a crush on him~~~
Alfred F. Jones A 6th year Gryffindor, and the older twin brother of Matthew. Alfred said Kaoru wasn’t cool and promised to give him “awesome lessons” which he has yet to receive. Al is a bit creeped out by Kaoru’s relationship with Hikaru, but whatever. Kaoru loves to tease him, and while Alfred may not consider Kaoru a friend, Kaoru considers Alfred one.
Rin Kagamine A 4th year Hufflepuff. They got to know each other after Len left, Kaoru helped her cope with her twin leaving her. They get along very well. Rin and Ryohei have some kind of odd relationship and Kaoru is always there to help her through Ryohei’s obliviousness.
Anise Tatlin A 4th year Slytherin who declared that she was going to marry him. Kaoru calls her wifey and she calls him hubby. Kaoru considered her a friend before she did, but was there for her when she was in the hospital wing. Anise is a bit of a prankster and always wants in on things~
Risa Koizumi A 5th yeah Gryffindor. Kaoru helps her with her homework and she cheered him up when he was down. It’s the beginning of a friendship.
Mulan Fa A 5th year Gryffindor. They went to Hogsmeade together
Coraline Jones A 1st year Ravenclaw and fellow prankster. They met during the alien invasion and she offered her assistance in the future. She’s drawing up a map of the castle and they have something in the works for later on~

Kisa Sohma A 2nd year Hufflepuff. They don’t interact that much, but when they do it’s pretty cute. Kaoru kind of wants to mother her, so he’s always smiling around her. When she turned into a tiger he helped her calm down by talking to her and getting her back into the dorm.
Raivis Lorinaitis A 2nd year Hufflepuff. Like with Kisa, they don’t interact much. Raivis is young and easily startled/upset so Kaoru wants to mother him too.

Enemies
Saralegui Sargon A 6th year Slytherin. They hate each other, end of story. It started during the alien invasion when Sara tripped and fell into the toilet, Sara burned him, and Kaoru insulted his hair. Sara then told Kaoru he was an idiot and idiots cannot love. During canon powers day Sara got Kaoru to stick his head in the toilet and wash his mouth out with soap. Kaoru really wants to hit Sara but Jomy stopped him.
